OR: That's Why We Call It a Bad Touch

While Reika is more than happy to strangle or otherwise physically harm her victims, the true horror of her power is in her touch rather than her sheer strength. All she requires is a slight brush of her fingers, and then it's too late for her victim.

Reika's touch (which does not require contact with bare skin) infects her victim with her tattoo; with it comes a small portion of her pain.

Effects:

1) The tattoo itself blooms across the area that Reika touches. This is incredibly painful physically.

2) With it, the tattoo brings a small portion (small being a relative term) of her own mental and emotional pain. (To understand just how bad this is, please refer to her history, in the previous entry.) Please note: this happens even if you're a sociopath/etc; at least temporarily you get to feel what she feels, as she feels it. Think of it as an exercise in perspective, courtesy of Landel's. <3

3) The tattoo will also bring up her victim's own unresolved mental/emotion pains and act as a constant reminder of those. Note the unresolved; even if a person has a painful event in the past, it will not be brought up in their mind if they have simply let it go[1].



The tattoo:
1) IS ONLY VISIBLE AT NIGHT. It may linger for a few moments after the victim wakes up in the interest of dramatic, HO SHIT IT'S REAL! effect, but will be long gone by the time the nurses show up.

2) FADES AFTER TWO NIGHTS, and along with it, the effects of the badtouch.

3) ONLY SPREADS IF THE VICTIM RECEIVES ANOTHER TOUCH FROM REIKA. The tattoo will return, bigger, better, and more painful even if the previous one has faded completely. It will still fade away over two nights. Now, what happens if you're slow enough to let Reika badtouch you into a full-body tatt over the course of several weeks? ...let's not find out.

4) IS OF A SNAKE AND HOLLY PATTERN. This is Reika's tattoo, I'm afraid, not one custom made to the particular mental cluster fucks of her victims. To give you an idea of what it looks like:

Reika's touch is bad, but bear in mind that she is also quite easy to escape. Just run. As long as you can mince along faster than Rei in her silly pumps (really, who wears heels to go traipsing through a ghost infested house of e-ville?) you can leave her in the dust.
